Waylon Jones, better known as Killer Croc, is a DC Comics supervillain, primarily an enemy of Batman. He suffers from a rare form of atavism, resulting in a reptilian appearance.
His first appearance was in Batman #357 (March 1983). Over time, his mutation has worsened, making him more animalistic in both appearance and behavior. Killer Croc is incredibly strong and possesses enhanced senses and durability. His thick, scaly skin provides protection from physical attacks.
Initially a sideshow attraction, he later turned to crime, using his brute strength to establish himself in Gotham's underworld. Killer Croc is often portrayed as a tragic figure, struggling with his monstrous appearance and societal rejection.
